Ground ginger is very useful to keep in the cupboard, as it lends itself to so many recipes, both sweet and savoury. It has a distinctive aroma and can also be used in beauty treatments, as well as medicinal recipes.
Medically it can be used to help with nausea. Just ½ a teaspoon of dried ginger before traveling can help prevent motion sickness. Take encapsulated if you are not a fan of the taste, or as a tea in the morning to help with a feeling of well being and balance.
