This famous red waxed ball shaped cheese is named after the Dutch port town of Edam, which is near Amsterdam. Semi-hard mild cows milk cheese. Edam has a mild, salty, and nutty flavour that gets sharper with aging. Perfectly paired with fruit and nuts.
